Camila Sodi is a young multi-media artist that never fails to inject her personality and charm to every project she does. Fresh-faced and talented, Camila Sodi is expected to become a big star and achieve equal, if not exceed the status of her aunt, actress and singer, Thalia.

Born in 1986 in Mexico City, Camila Sodi (also known as Camila Sodi Gonzales or Kamila Sodi and not Camilla) started acting at the tender age of 17. She first appeared in Inocente de Ti, a remake of the popular television series Maria Mercedes. Camila, bearing a strong semblance to International pop star Jojo, actually started as a teen model despite being a petite young lady at 5’3”. Before landing the role of Florecita in the TV drama Inocente de Ti, she graced many fashion spreads and magazine covers. She has been on the covers of Tu and 15*20.

Before becoming a full-time actress, Camila Sodi finished high school and was once a student at the Grier School, a boarding school for girls in Central Pennsylvania.

Now 19 years old, she has decided to revamp her image and agreed to have her photos taken for the centerfold of a popular men’s magazine. Having started as a model, the “pin-up” project is just an extension of her craft. As a professional and sought-after model, Camila is very comfortable having her photos taken. She exudes a flirtatious vibe without really trying. Simply put, Camila Sodi just has a magnetic personality that grabs you. Whether on TV or in person, Camila Sodi’s personality shines through.

Camila Sodi, for the last two years has also been hosting her very own music TV show- El Show Con Camila. Camila Sodi’s family members are all achievers in their own fields so it’s really not hard to imagine why she is a success. Her mother Ernestina Sodi is an editor. Her maternal grandfather Ernesto Sodi Pallares was a doctor, criminologist, scientist and forensic pathologist. Her aunt Thalia is a very popular actress and singer who successfully launched an international solo music career in the ‘90s. Another aunt Federica is a successful archaeologist while her aunt Gabriela works as an art historian.

Camila is currently single but was once in a 2-year relationship with Josemaria Torre, a Mexican actor and fashion designer who is 9 years her senior.
